cheetein!

Yun toh saalon guzar gaye par mehsoos karo toh aaj subah ka hee kissa hai. Mujhe lagta tha ki main raat ke liye banee hoon. Din majboori ka sauda hai. Isiliye subah uthna mere liye hamesha hee ek arduous task raha hai.

Maa ka bhi ek schedule hota tha jagane ka school ke liye. Pehle dheemi si awaz , phir zor se aur baad mein na uthe toh thande panee ke chhetein . Aur ek baar agar pani haath mein aa gaya toh mooh pe chheetein padne hee the, chahe aap bistar se uthke unke kadmon pe gir bhi jaayo, ya phir aangan mein daud jaao. Woh cheetein peechha karte aur sach mein rooh tak jaake lagte the adhkhuli aakhon pe woh paani ke chheetein.

Aaj achanak hee un chheeton ke yaad see aa gayee. Mumbai Local mein jinhone bhi safar kiya hai woh jaante hain wahan ke rules kitne sakht hain. Seat chhodne ka riwaaz nai hai. Chahe koi bada ho, bhooda ho ya bachcha. Bade mushkilat ke saath 2 inch jagah milti hai baithne ki. Din bhar ki mashakkat ke baad 4 pal ke aaram ka har koi haqdaar hota hai. Insaaniyat aungha see rahee hoti hai. Ya subah kachchi neend se uthne ke karan ya phir kaam ke bojh se. Phir in adhkhli aakhon ko kisi boodhe ki takleef kaise dikhai degi.

Main shayad lucky hoon. Aise toh umra bhar neend ke jhokein si hi kati hai par haan takleef, phir woh kisi ki bhi ho,nazarandaaz nai hoti. Aur mujhe shayad kabhi itni thakaan bhi nai hoti. Isliye jab bhi apne se zyada zaroorat mein kisiko dekhti hoon toh uth khadi hoti hoon un pairon pe jinhe waise bhi chalne ki adat hai. Agar khuda hai toh uski aakhein kisi boodhe ki aakhon mein dua jaisi hoti hongi and muskurahat ek bache ki tarah. Us ek pal mein khuda ka chehra dikh jaata hai, woh bhi bade saste mein.

Lekin kuchh aur bhi hota hai.

Achanak hee ik lehar see daud jaati hai poore dabbe mein. Har koi mujhe apne paas jagah dena chahta hai.

aisa lagta hai logon ke chehre mein insaaniyat ke chheetein maaro toh unka thakan ke nashe se behosh zameer jaag jaata hai.

Aur maa ki yaad aa jaati hai.

T.S Eliot

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.
.......
Oh, the comfort
The inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person,
Having neither to weigh thoughts,
Nor measure words
but pouring them All right out
just as they are
Chaff and grain together
Certain that a faithful hand will Take and sift them
Keep what is worth keeping
and with the breath of kindness Blow the rest away.

fav poems --2 : Agnipath

Vruksh ho bade bhale,
ho ghane ho bhale,
Ek Patra chhah bhi mang mat, mang mat, mang mat,
Agnipath, Agnipath Agnipath;

Tu na thamega kabhi tu na mudega kabhi tu na rukega kabhi,
Kar shapath, Kar shapath, Kar shapath,
Agnipath, Agnipath, Agnipath.
Ye Mahan Drushya hain,
Chal raha Manushya hain,
Ashru, Sweth, Rakta se Latpat Latpat Latpat..
Agnipath, Agnipath, Agnipath.

what did the yatra do to me!

I was convinced that nationalism is anointed 'tribalism' but after the yatra, I am even more convinced that I am a tribal, and I shall always be one.

Awesome it was to hold the flag standing on the engine. A moment when the brain is irrelevant and the heart skips a beat.

Quotes I like : Courtesy Mr Internet.

"I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best."
Marilyn Monroe

"Be the change that you wish to see in the world."
Mahatma Gandhi

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
Mark Twain

"Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much."
Oscar Wilde

"Women are like teabags; you never know how strong they are until they're put in hot water."
Eleanor Roosevelt

"That which does not kill us makes us stronger."
Friedrich Nietzsche

"If you want to know what a man's like, take a good look at how he treats his inferiors, not his equals."
J.K. Rowling (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire)

"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all."
Oscar Wilde
"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go..."
Dr. Seuss (Oh, the Places You'll Go!)
"If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales."
Albert Einstein

"People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.

A true soul mate is probably the most important person you'll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave.

"Stop wearing your wishbone where your backbone ought to be."
Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love)

teri koi bhooli huee yaad

agar hum mein aisa koi rishta hota,
main jaan paati tere har alfaaz ke peechhe ka kissa.

kya teri har nazm yun hee khoobsurat rehti,
ya ud jaatee unmein se tasavvur ki yeh mehak.

woh duniya jo mere zehan mein tere khayalon pe qayam hai..
kya bikhar jaati, haqeeqat ke sookhe patton ki tarah.

rishta toh aaj bhi hai tera mera,
mujhe sunne ki tamanna, tujhe sunane ka shauq

gar sun pati us dard ke peeche teri aah,
kya aansoon meri ankhon ke do nagmon ke beech sookh paate...

ya dhoondti rehti har khushnuma nazm ke baad..
tera koi toota hua khwab, teri koi bhooli huee yaad.
